Tatuus T014 F4 / GB4

For sale is our Tatuus T014, as used in F4 series around the world as well as the UK GB4 championship.

The car was built in 2017 and purchased from Hillspeed in Spring 2022. Prior to that it was owned by Prema and, we understand, was only used for private track days for a wealthy owner in Spain since new, being maintained regardless of cost. 

The car was brought to the UK as one of 4 purchased from Prema. This was the first to be sold and was hand-picked by ourselves from those original cars.

This Tatuus was thoroughly checked and serviced by Hillspeed prior to delivery and since then has only done one brief shakedown and four sprint / hillclimb events, amounting to less than 1.5 hours of total running. The car has been totally reliable and is regularly maintained.

A new battery and new harnesses were fitted in January 2023. No other modifications have been made besides fitting an electric cooling fan (easily removed) to keep it cool during queues at sprints, and a GB3-spec rear diffuser upgrade.

The car has the latest spec front bulkhead and rear crash box, making it ready to run in GB4 .

It comes with:

- 3 sets of wheels (one fitted with good wets, one fitted with good Pirellis and one with super soft Avons bought new in Spring 2023 with only 20 mins total running on them)

- spare camber shims,

- Alternative front and rear anti-roll bars

- Motorsport UK sprint / hillclimb logbook, manuals etc.

- 2 new 'short' old spec rear crash boxes perfect for test days or sprints / hillclimbs.

- fuel drain staubli hose and oil level dipstick

- east access battery charge connection

Offered for sale only due to a change of class for the owner in 2024, meaning the car is unlikely to do much running during the upcoming season.

Lola T91/50 / ATOL 95 Rolling Chassis

Pit Lane Spares are proud to present the most succesful T91/50 to have competed in Europe, offered as a refreshed rolling chassis ready for engine.

This well-known car has has an illustrious career as a racer (in the hands of Marco Apicella), test car (with David Coulthard and Andy Priaulx) and as a hillclimb car (with Keith Watts, Martin Groves, Amanda Furby and Roger Moran).

The car is now offered as a comprehensive rolling chassis, with all steering, brakes, electronics and gearbox present and correct. Mugen or Judd fitting kits are included and a complete Mugen MF308 V8 engine can be offered subject to separate negotiation.

Likewise, a comprehensive spares package  is available including a brand new original Lola-spec tub and bodywork, spare wheels, dampers and many other mechanical parts.

Highlights of the car include:

- Ex-Marco Apicella car run by Paul Stewart Racing. Developed by PSR in period, resulting in Apicella being the highest placed Lola in the championship that year with results including two 2nd place finishes. Also used as the 1992 Judd test car with David Coulthard.

- Purchased by ATOL Racing and heavily developed by ATOL as the ATOL-Judd T95, in collaboration with other well known F1 designers and a renowned hillclimb car company, with Andy Priaulx as the development test driver.

- Features a professionally-shortened monocoque resulting in a shortened wheelbase with heavily revised suspension, lowered steering rack and short ratio gearbox. Also comes with alternative front nose cone and F1 rear wheels.

- This well-known car competed at the sharp end of British Hillclimb Championship during the late 1990s and early 2000s, driven most notably by Keith Watts, Amanda Furby, Martin Groves and Roger Moran.

- The original Mugen MF308 that ran during the 1991 season was removed to make room for a Judd kv. This was subsequently changed to a Judd EV for hillclimbing before being removed relatively recently by a previous owner. 

- Car includes dash, data logger, power module, loom, starter motor, dampers, fuel system, radiator etc. The fresh gearbox (Hewland FGB with bespoke Lola casing) was rebuilt by JPR at Silverstone.

- Includes fitting kit for a Judd EV (we can supply Mugen fitting parts if required). Also includes numerous additional fittings and fasteners. 

- Repainted and vinyled Summer 2023 in original Labatts livery.

- Currently on F3000 rear wheels but 1 full set of black Formula 1 wheels is also included (as were run by ATOL in the British Hillclimb championship).

- Spare packages including wheels, complete set of bodywork, spare dressed monocoque, dampers and other mechanical parts  available subject to negotiation.

Overall this is an exceptionally presented car that would take little work to return to the hills or track. With the new HSCC Formula Libre Trophy debuting at Silverstone Festival 2023 and allowing F3000 cars up to 1990, it is surely only a matter of time before eligibility for early 1990s F3000s in Classic Racing series see values soar.

Lola B03/51 Formula Nippon

Lola B03/51 rolling chassis, ex Tsugio Matsuda. Driven to 2nd place in Suzuka and 3rd at Fuji (includng fastest lap), with a further pole at the Suzuka season finale in 2005. The mechnical parts were then removed to use as spares for the 2006 car, which used the same mechnicals with a slightly revised tub and bodywork.

Pit Lane Spares acquired this tub and matching bodywork in 2018 and have since allocated all new original Lola parts from stock in order to build it into "rolling chassis" specification.

Virtually every single mechanical part on the car is new, down to each Kaynut, NAS bolt, spherical joint and washer.

The car is 90% complete, requiring just a handful of parts plus "final assembly" labour and comes with most parts needed to make it engine-ready.

We can also supply a "zero-km" Mugen MF308 in order bring the car back to working order (subject to additional cost).

 With so many new parts, the completed car would surely be the best condition Formula Nippon /F3000 car that money can buy and at a much reduced cost compared to other post-2001 Formula Nippon, A1GP and F3000 cars currently offered to market

Curent Build Specification

- Original tub with fuel cell

- Original sidepods, front wing, engine cover, interior panels and floors (new, unpainted items can be substituted if preferred)

- New nose (painted spare), damper hatch (painted spare) and new rear wing assembly (unpainted)

- Rear crash box and rain light

- Original chassis looms

- New suspension throughout (wishbones, pushrods, anti-roll bars, uprights, toe links, steering arms, rockers, wheel nuts, wheel tethers etc.)

- Uprated AP Racing A1GP brake calipers with brand new discs all round.

- New uprated A1GP Ohlins dampers with brand new springs

- New uprated A1GP-spec steering rack - (used original spec can be substituted if preferred). Steering column and brackets all fitted.

- Excellent used condition steering wheel with dash and box

- Rebuilt Xtrac A1GP gearbox (brand new original spec Hewland unit can be substituted  if preferred)

- New Formula Nippon Spec bellhousing (A1GP Zytek belllhousing can be substitued if preferred)

- New Mugen upper and lower engine mounts

- Mugen MF308 dummy engine frame

- New fuel filler necks

- Many other new parts including  floor stays, all studs, NAS bolts, kaynuts, spherical joints, brackets etc etc)

- New driveshaft assemblies

- New brake ducts (not yet fitted)

- A1GP wheels (shown in photos). Original Formula Nippon wheels can be substituted if preffered.

- Choice of original Mugen MF308 exhaust system or brand new Zytek exhaust system (not yet fitted)

Nismo GT-R GT1
The most famous R35 in the world. The FIA GT1 Championship-winning no.23 car. 

Pit Lane Spares are incredibly proud to offer one of the most famous cars of the modern GT era and a genuine piece of motorsport history; the #23 Nismo GT-R FIA GT1 Car.

Run by JRM in its famous red and black livery, this car was the first Nissan to win a world championship, cantering to victory in the hands of Michael Krumm and Lucas Luhr.

#23 (the flagship 'ni'-'san' number) is 1 of only 5 Nissan Nismo GT1 cars produced, running throughout 2010 before being driven to 4 podium finishes in 2011 GT1 drivers’ championship to clinch the title. 

Then and ever since, the car has been maintained by JRM and has toured the world representing the brand at prestigious events, including multiple appearances at the SRO Gala Awards in Paris.

The bespoke 5552cc VK56DE V8 engine sounds like nothing else on earth, transmitting 600ps and 650nm of torque through a transverse, magnesium cased Ricardo 6 speed sequential transaxle and out to the rear wheels.

Pankl uprights combine with Brembo 6 pot calipers and carbon ceramic brakes to provide stopping power to a kerb weight of 1250kg.

At 2040mm wide, this is one of the imposing vehicles of its time. Virtually everything on the car has been designed from scratch with the sole purpose of winning championships at the highest level of GT racing.

In short, this is one of the most competent and historically significant cars of an already exceptional breed of GT1 vehicles and the most desirable of the ultra-rare Nismo GT-R GT1 cars .

Now in private hands, the car is presented in superb race-ready condition after being re-prepared by JRM in the summer of 2018. With GT1 cars of this era on the rise, this famous car represents a remarkable investment opportunity and an extremely competitive package for historic racing.
